Another ESCI Roman conversion.
Triari with different crests, a second shin guard has also been painted onto the trailing leg.
More Triari with different crests.
More Triari. Apart from the functional difference between the Triari and Princeps, the Triari had spears instead of pila. Once the spear was thrown, broken or discarded, there was little to differentiate them from the others.
Wounded Romans, unfinished. You should be ashamed of yourself if you cannot guess what figures these two are converted from.
For more information you can contact Mr. Markus Münch. Many thanks to Mr. Münch for his contributions! Toy soldiers have always been limited by the number of poses available. Mr. Münch has shown that with a sharp knife, a keen appetite for work, strong glue, good eyes, and a bellyful of imagination, the number of poses you can make can almost be limitless! Though the figures shown are unpainted, once they have been unpainted, it would be difficult to tell an original from a converted one. Thanks again, Mr. Münch, for taking the time to scan and send the pictures to us for all to enjoy.
