Here are pictures of some dioramas from a new contributor from Germany, Mr. Benedikt Reiffer.
"I am 20 years old and live in Essen (Germany). I have collected 1/72 plastic figures for many years and today I have about 5000 figures of different companies (Hat, Revell, Esci, Atlantic, Italeri...). In my spare time I built 4 dioramas about different periods in history. The first one is about the American War of Independence, the second shows a little skirmish in front of the "Marienburg" the headquarter of Teutonic Knights in the 12th and 13th century. The third diorama is a battle scene between British and French Infantry and Cavalry during the Napoleonic Wars. My newest and fourth diorama is the largest and has a width of about 50cm. It shows Egyptians who live on the banks of the Nile."
1st diorama (American War of Independence)
2nd diorama (Teutonic Knights)
3rd diorama (Napoleonic Wars)
4th diorama (On the Banks of the Nile)
Many thanks to Mr. Benedikt Reiffer for sending in pictures of his dioramas.
