"These are the pictures of a diorama concerning the battle of Misrata fought by the Italians against the Turkish-Arabs the 8 july of 1912. The first scan is taken from an epoch Italian journal collected by my uncle who was in a rear-guard action during that battle! The line troops are British colonial with Italian uniform colour, the Alpini are obtained with the head of Atlantic and the torso of British colonial and the two cavalrymen are made with horse and legs of ACW, torso of British and arms with lance from Polish lancers."
Many thanks to Mr. Rossi for sending in this contribution.
