The hoarse cry of men in Arnold Schwarzenegger's native tongue and the rattle of rifle fire over the make believe background music of "Edelweiss" can almost be heard when a HäT box of early WWI Austrian Infantry is opened. These figures made to 1/72 scale are also amongst the latest additions to the HäT range. Forty eight realistic figures, ranging from cultured privates from Vienna to tough shepherds from the Austrians Alps are contained in each pack and in many a home grown men will see in their imagination Russians or Italians swarming to the attack and deploy Austrians on the fire steps of the trenches. These Austrians are at home either on the Eastern Front or on Captain von Trapp's favorite mountain top vista. These figures are highly detailed and are complete for action play with the exception of painting or in some cases in spite of painting.
