This set consists of 24 foot and 12 mounted figures most of whom can be customized to be used as regular cavalry, heavy infantry, standard bearers or officers. Accessories include 8 swords, 24 spears, 28 shields, 4 goat standards, 4 trident stands, 4 horns and 4 detachable pieces of horse armor.

The above figure carries the ubiquitous Carthaginian standard. It is not detachable, however one of our earliest discoveries is that a standard can be whittled down into a spear, and with judicious trimming, a spear can whittled down into a sword. Plumes on helmets can also be cut or trimmed to obtain a bare helmet.

On the subject of glues, there are many contributed suggestions as to what glues to use on the tips page. Our experience tells us that these glued figures will absorb moderate or occasional abuse sustained in handling or gameplay, but after all being PE, they will not withstand protracted or severe abuse.
