Here, I send my contribution about the last wargame I played.
Despite having always played the Napoleonic era and other historical periods, I have recently started painting ancient figures.
The battle in question concerns a clash between Sumerian city states: Ur and Lagash.
From the contribution, you can notice archers and other types of infantry. You can also notice that the wargame terrain is particularly basic since it's one of the first battles that I've played in a desertic landscape.
