Here's a single conversion submitted by Alessandro Gentilini of Sassari, Sardinya, Italy, as a Corse chasseur (1814). It is often said that Napoleon only became a Frenchman by chance. If Corsica remained Italian, perhaps Napoleon might have united Italy a hundred years earlier and Garibaldi might not have become a household name (in Italy)?
Anyway, here is a chasseur Corse, converted by "simply changing colors and removing the coverlet". More information on the Tirailleurs du Corse can be found in Mr. Gentilini's second contribution. Many thanks to Mr. Gentilini for his contribution.
