Dated: August 15, 1999.
For those interested in statistics and curious about where the other toy soldier enthusiasts are, here is some information on our visitors:
The first shows the top 15 visitors by country in the since January 1999.
Comments: Probably due to a preponderance of internet usage and large population, Americans are by far the most frequent visitors. The #2 spots of Portugal in April and May are a mystery to us. It is also interesting to see Italy in the top 2 or 3 position, but it has been suggested that the most fervorant toy soldier collectors in Europe are Italians and this table seems to bear this out, if only related to HäT products.
Visitors from 70 countries visited our website in July 1999. Here they are ranked by most visits.
Comments:
1) Visitor #45 Mongolia is a mystery. Perhaps there are some expatriates living there on business? It is questionable that western toy soldiers have ever been sold in Mongolia on a large scale. The same question to Vietnam, #46.
2) India is there but Pakistan is not.
3) Except for China, there are no other Communist countries.
4) There are only two countries from Africa.
5) Latvia and Estonia, the two smaller Baltic states are seen, but not Lithuania, the bigger one.
6) Of the countries of the former Soviet Union, only the 3 big ones plus Uzbekistan are seen. It is known that a lot of Russians reside in Uzbekistan.
7) The highest ranked countries we've never received e-mail from are perhaps Mauritius, Iceland, and Thailand.
8) The most of of the way place visiting this site is Christmas Island several months ago. I thought there was only one Christmas Island, but there are two, one in the Indian Ocean (under Australian jurisdiction) with a population of 3000, and one in the Pacific Ocean (under UK) with a population of 300. Whoever it was, he was probably looking for hats because he never came again. webmaster.
