First released around 2001, set 8037 depicts Austrian artillerymen of the Napoleonic Wars serving the well-organised and highly regarded artillery arm of the Habsburg army. The set includes six crew figures performing a variety of gun-handling duties, together with a cannon of simple four-piece construction: two wheels, carriage and barrel. Brist’s beautifully painted battery brings this early HäT set to life, showing the crews deploying their guns amid the smoke and confusion of battle.
