Napleonic Russian Cavalry by Mr. Flavio Rossi of Italy.
"This is the production of the last weeks. Finally I could start with the Russian cavalry! I must mention the first works of Mr. Chris D'Arcy and Mr. Ricardi on this subject. I must thank also Megorsky Boris for the pictures of the Russian militia. Finally, I want to thank Francesco Messori for his beautifull works on miniatures!
The first scan (front rear) are the Pavlograd Hussar obtained from French one changing heads (except one ... which?) and adding the arm with the lance.
The second scan are Life Guard Hussar (before 1812) obtained with head changing also from General staff.
The third scan concern the horseman of Militia squadron of landowner Skarzhinsky. They are obtained from polish lancers (one of my prefered sets) by cutting the epaluettes and cadenettes, and substituting the
"Czapska" with the HAT cossak busby. The horse come also from HAT cossack set."
Many thanks to Mr. Rossi for sending in this contribution.
