A contribution from Mr. Jakub Mroczkowski of Poland.
"The photos of a battle under Germanic village. 1st or 2nd century AD (Imperial era).
1. Some preliminary sketches that help me to get the general idea of how it may look like.
2. Diorama without any figures. it's rather small 45 by 25 cm but it could be extended with another pieces of the same size like a big puzzle.and that's my plan for the future. ...soon it's going to be hot here.
3. Diorama with figures. - Romans trying to take over the gate of the village - some archers shooting and covering their infantry counterparts - officers -marching column in trouble - some tribesmen coming to their relatives' rescue. Photos by Wojtek Sobolewski"
Many thanks to Mr. Jakub Mroczkowski.
