"On this picture you can see the Merten sets 936-947 made in West Berlin, Germany by the company Walther Merten they are in HO-scale (1:87) and they are factory painted. Probably made in the sixties or early seventies. They came in four different sets painted in three different uniforms. It only took me two years to get all twelve sets. When I found the last one on E-bay it was a very happy moment! This producer makes civilian sets mostly for model railways it is just a shame that they were not made in 1:72 as well"
