Here's a contribution from Francis Long (UK). Saxons and Westphalians against the French.
"The figures are-immediate foreground-Westphalian Guard, with Westphalian line inf. alongside. Next comes Saxon line inf. in the centre with Saxe-Hildbourghausen in green on the left and Saxe-Meiningen in blue on the right. These German units are attacking French light inf. including a few Carabiniers (Imp.Guard heads). Behind them are Grenadiers and Voltigeurs on the flanks with the main body of line in the middle. Imperial Guard and a battalion of Marines {converted from Hat Brunswickers} are at the rear. Over half the figures were painted 25 years ago and have been in a box ever since."
Many thanks to Francis Long for sending in this contribution.
