A contribution from Pascal Bnawka of France.
Many thanks to Mr. Bnawka. (*Note: Zevzda's Macedonian set contains several anomalies. The standard bearer is not Macedonian, but Carthaginian and carries a Carthaginian standard and shield. The man with the pectoral breastplate is actually a Roman ally - he carries no shield and wears no greaves, he is not a phalangite. And some of the figures are inaccurately shown carrying shields on their backs. While the back rows may carry shields on their backs, the phalangites holding their sarissas horizontally are presumably in the front rows and should be carrying their shields in front of them. Finally, mail was not worn by Alexander's phalangites, nor did they wear lace up boots, these items were perhaps more appropriate for Successor phalangites.)
