A contribution from Mr. Jean-François Goester of France:
"Here are as attached files 2 pictures of a diorama I have finalized recently. As I have taken these pictures with a classical camera then scanned them, the resolution is not so high I hoped.
This diorama corresponds to a moment of the battle of Waterloo (near 2:30 PM): the end of the Union Brigade charge (Général Sir W. Ponsomby). Here, we can see Scot Greys (2nd dragoons) with some Inniskilling " (6th dragoons) attacked by 9th Cuirassiers (Brigade Farine) and 3rd Chevau-Léger (Brigade Jacquinot) as they were reaching the Great Battery.
This diorama is composed of 129 soldiers, 96 horses, 4 cannons.
The origin of the figurines are:
HAT for Inniskilling, chevau legers and part of French artillery
Airfix (very old ones when I was younger ...) for the other part of French artillery + some French infantry
Italeri for cuirassiers (using carabiniers and dragoons for the head)."
Many thanks to Mr. Goester for sharing his pictures with us.
