Dated: Sept 17, 2002.
From Sander van Straeten of the Netherlands.
A cornucopia of conversions from the Netherlands in 3 parts. Mr. van Staeten's notes are in quotes.
"The next two pictures are a front and back view taken from figures out of a HYTI set "Wellington's Generals" and all poses are from the Osprey MAA book of the same title. From left to right one meets: Lt. General Picton Major General sir Rowland Hill, Lord Fitzroy Somerset and Lt. General the Earl of Uxbridge (the latter I provided with a new sword)."
"The next two are HäT Republican Roman Legionaries fitted with an Italeri head and one with an Italeri Greek Hoplite spear."
"The French Horse Artillery Munition Limber is scratch built."
"Also included are some of the conversions of Allied officers of Wellington's Peninsular Army:"
"I used a RHA officer with the Brunswickers head to create a, well Brunswick officer obviously."
"The Pioneer is a Revell Artillery man with a HäT head and an IMEX pick."
>
I mixed a HäT Brunswick officer with a Dutch Stovepipe Shako in order to create a 60th Rifles Officer"
Many thanks to Mr. Sander.
