Dated: July 14, 2008.
My conversions for Thessalian light horse from the 5th c. BC, using Hät Numidian horses, Roman mounted officers and some headless Greek cavalry from Atlantic/Nexus.
It is very hard to find ancient cavalrymen WITHOUT shield and armour and horses WITHOUT saddle and saddlecloth, buth WITH harness (what do you call these leather straps to direct the horse when riding it?) In fact, such early ancient horses don't exist at all! Not made by Hät nor by any other manufacturor. It's time to produce this non-existing buth very basic item!
Kindest regards,
Mr. Cryns from the Netherlands
Thessalian Light Horse
Many thanks to Mr. Cryns.
