1750-1800 Conversion

Hello from Spain!
I have attached some pics of one experiment that I wanted to put in practice for long. I wondered if the napoleonic figures of Hat could or couldn´t be converted for the 1750-1800 period. There are some problems with knapsacks and headgear, but it seems to be possible. Then I spent one hour on that figurine, a volunteer Hat Bavarian infantryman, trying to resemble a early and unspecified soldier. What do you thing? Does it reasonably work? Thak you in advance!
