Ottoman Sirian Yoruks

The Yoruks were Sirian lanciers, found by Napoleon in the siege of Acre during his Egyptian campaign. These Ottoman riders didn't carried firearms and also fought against the Russians, which were afraid of their long lances, very effective against the infantry squares. These figures are HäT conversions made from Napoleonic Mamelukes and several cavalry ancient sets. Note their characteristic turbans and the design of their shields. The Yoruks will play a main role in the Armand's fictional colonial campaign.
