Hello !
It's been a long time since I have been painting figures, but now I come back to the hobby and I can send you photos of your very nice Hypaspists.
I used the Osprey "Army of Alexander the Great" book to paint these guys.
A few remarks:
- the three figures are lightly equipped, so that they are faster to follow the cavalry
- I painted blue helmets, as shown in the book, and I like the result. But to be true, I am not sure that such "uniforms" are accurate. There was probably more differences between the warriors
- I didn't remove the feather, though it might have been a distinctive mark for officers. Maybe only one guy with feathers would have been more accurate.
The painting was very pleasant,as usual with the last Hät products, and I tried to improve my speed painting: only 4 hours for 3 of them.
I hope you like them.
Best regards.
Philippe (from France).
