Hi there,
I have some pictures of Armourfast sherman conversions.
The first is an armourfast M4A3 converted in an M36B1 (inspired by the photo in the background). Using mostly spare parts and scratchbuilding. This model has photoetched duckbills added to the tracks and plastic chevrons - around 140 of each so hardly armourfast in the end! The tank destroyer in the photo is credited with 4 kills consisting of 2 tigers and 2 panzer IVs. The crew added a wooden plaque with 4 swastikas to celebrate the feat, which can be seen on the upper left hand side of the mantlet.
Regards,
John S.
