Armourfast Sherman conversions

I have some pictures of Armourfast sherman conversions.
This is an M4 converted into an M4 hybrid and a M4 Firefly converted into an M4 firefly hybrid. This was done by removing the fronts and then sculpting a new cast front from clay (which even gives a cast effect). The hatches were spares from a dragon kit (they supply both late and early hatch styles in all there shermans even though clearly you can only use one type depending on which hull you have), and so are the other extras such as stowage bins, travel lock etc.
The Firefly also has the "Tulip" missile system, basically a Sherman equiped with Typhoon fighter aircraft rockets. These rockets come from an airfix Mosquito kit. Essentailly the same as Typhoons only the hard points are spaced further apart. The attaching rodding is all scratch. Not completly accurate but good enough for wargaming and makes for a useful edition (the rocket was as effective as a direct hit from a 5.5in shell!).
