With the excellent WW1 pics up on the HaT site lately I had to add some pics of my work in progress trench system. There is still much to be done but I'm doing this project on a budget that anyone with time could do. The trench system is carved into a large piece of foam insulation. Originally a 4'x8' piece, I have cut it into 8 2x1 sections. The foam is 2 inches thick. To achieve a rough texture the foam was sandpapered before being base-coated in dark brown. Once it is done I will match the figure bases' colour and texture to that of the fields and trench.
Much to do - more pics later...
