Battle of Hydaspes

Dear Hat folks,
Having just read the boys a book about Alexander the Great, the boys wanted to fight the battle of Hydaspes. We looked it up on the internet and found battle dispositions and a nice summary on the Fanaticus website.
We deployed our terrain and armies.
Unfortunately our Indian and Macedonian armies are very scanty so we had a great deal of Carthaginian and Roman recruits in the armies of Alexander and Porus (hence the unrealistic figures). We have as yet no Indian chariots so we used our Celtic (from your ancient Britons set) chariots and an elephant to represent our Indian chariot troops. But it gave a good feel for the battle anyway, on a wargame level.
Unfortunately for the Macedonians the battle ended quite early when King Porus' son led a charge into Alexander's troops and his cavalry, clashing with the Macedonian skirmishers managed to kill Alexander. Almost all of the troops are Hat.
